Thanks for visiting!
Your blog is a great idea. So glad I discovered it. I decided to go vegan May 1st and I am still discovering as well. I can’t believe it took me so long to discover Natve Foods. I had found the Veggie Grill, the Stand and Wahoo’s vegan menu but I still can’t believe I somehow missed Native Foods. I found your link there. Good luck. I think you are are in the sweet spot of the curve of those discovering not only what this diet can do for them, but how many delicious foods they have been missing and will discover. I have become a foodie
). Thanks, Bryan
Kriss, wanted to mention, you should try The Stand in Laguna Beach if you haven’t. All vegan and excellent. Bryan
hi!!!
I have recently rerelocated to O.C. & being a 7 year vegan am looking for work in a completely vegan atmosphere. Any suggestions?
Hi Josh, welcome! There are three all-vegan restaurants in Orange County which I adore. Native Foods (Aliso Viejo, Costa Mesa and Tustin), Veggie Grill (Irvine) and Freesoulcaffe (Tustin). All offer 100% vegan food, and the people who work there are great!
Here are some other ideas: Popular local blogger Kyle Domer of Vegan Vagrant, is currently working on opening a 100% vegan sandwich shop in Irvine called Phoney Baloneys. I’m sure he’d love to work with other vegans in getting the business off the ground. Also, the Seabirds Food Truck is 100% vegan. I always thought it would be cool to work on a food truck, especially a vegan one! That food truck was actually featured on the Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race. They are also working on opening a restaurant.
Lastly, 188 Degrees (Costa Mesa) is all raw-vegan. Could be interesting!
I hope this helps! I suggest contacting them or stopping by one of the locations. Here are some links:

Just to clarify, all the places listed above are 100% vegan establishments.
P.S.- Phoney Baloney’s is having a Cinco de Mayo celebration this Saturday. Vegan quesadillas with lots of fresh toppings. I think a lot of local vegans will be there. You should stop by!
